Background
Bansal grew up in a small town in Rajasthan and studied computer science at IIT Delhi. He moved to the US in 2000 and worked at Wily Technology.
AppDynamics
Founded in 2008, AppDynamics tracked how software applications performed. Cisco bought it in January 2017 for $3.7 billion, just before its stock listing.
Harness and Traceable
In 2017 he founded Harness, which automates software deployment, and later the API-security company Traceable, which merged into Harness.
